I love Hughes it's one of the best high schools I have attended yet the experiences that I have there are amazing. I had relocated from Greenville, South Carolina to Cincinnati, Ohio and my older sister had graduated from Hughes STEM High School and I definitely wanted to follow in her footsteps.

I am in a Health program that allows me to participate in a paid-internship at Good Samaritan hospital. It's been the best thing about Hughes STEM High School. The people, hands-on experience, and the opportunities are once in a lifetime. The college prep could start earlier in my high school career and the clubs and school activities could improve, along with nutrition for my school district as a whole.

I'm in a dual enrollment program so I'm not really involved with Hughes mainly but the teachers and facilities are good. The administrators and all reply quickly but it takes time to get stuff done but I guess that's just CPS, I don't know about the extracurriculars but most of the activities at my school are fun. The kids are alright (classmates).

At Hughes stem high school, All the kids are extremely depressed at this school. Half of the teachers do not care about the students. They don't even really teach they just give them something and expect them to know it. I really do not feel like my kid is learning or achieving anything in this scho...

They principle their let the teachers run the school their is no safety at the school Random people come in the school all the time. The school is a mess roaches in the bathroom. Hughes has no authority, there’s always fights.
