I moved here at the start of senior year so my opinion may be skewed, but its a very slow paced learning environment and I often find it frustrating, I do not believe it is an issue with the students themselves but rather the teachers not pushing them enough at younger ages. I often find myself bored or drastically underworked at this school, and they only offer 2 AP courses, neither of which are STEM which is confusing.

I like the study tables that teachers held daily to help students that didn't understand what was talked about in class but could stay after school for help for a better understanding this helps a lot for students that doesn't ask questions in class, I wouldn't change anything.

At Hughes stem high school, All the kids are extremely depressed at this school. Half of the teachers do not care about the students. They don't even really teach they just give them something and expect them to know it. I really do not feel like my kid is learning or achieving anything in this scho...
