Hyde Park School is conveniently located at 3401 Edwards Road. There has been a school at Edwards and Observatory since 1823. Since then, the growth from a rural setting to that of an integral part of Cincinnati, the location has seen three renovations with many amenities added through the years. The building currently standing was designed by famous Cincinnati architect Samuel Hannaford in 1902 and is noted for its twin turrets and stunning gabled tile roof. An addition was added in 1927 which includes a gym. The school’s Mission is to develop compassionate, engaged students who are happy to be at school. ItsVision is a community school that nurtures the whole student, giving them the opportunity to achieve exceptional results. Hyde Park School provides a flexible and adaptable learning environment for grades K-6, proudly offering its Personal Learning program. Full-day Kindergarten is offered, and weekly Tutorial and Enrichment is offered in grades K-2. Grades 3-6 offer Gifted Services for qualifying students, and each semester there are student-selected enrichment opportunities. There are also weekly special classes, including Latin, Art, Music, and Physical Education. Hyde Park School offers Before- and After-Care, provided by the Oakley Recreation Center. It also offers the Local School Decision-Making Committee. This is a group of parents, teachers, and community representatives – functioning in an advisory role to the principal.

Honestly, this school was good and bad. Mostly bad. I’d choose another school; and heres why. First, yes i went to this school. Some teachers were nice and some were really rude. This school has what's most important to any school. The facilities, teachers, test scores, adminstration are all top notch. But what really sets Hyde Park School apart are the parents.
