GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Teachers and staff were knowledgeable in subjects and activities happening in the school and the community around it.

During my four years at Taft high school I matured a lot. Taft high school taught me the importance of education and how I should take it seriously. I like that Taft high school is filled with kids who are just like me in the sense of growing up in the same struggle. I like that the teachers at Taft really want us to succeed and become somebody special in life. I also like how the teachers are available when extra help is needed in the classroom. I really appreciate all the after-school activity that Taft provides for us.
