Sycamore High School was renovated just a few years ago, yet the building already has serious leaks in the ceilings. Almost daily there is at least one bucket or trash can collecting drips, and after rain, they're everywhere. Besides the building, Sycamore has been wonderful for me. A wide variety of courses in STEM, art, and music have allowed me to explore my interests while being a member of the marching band and winter drumline, two strong programs.

This school is a pressure cooker. They put so much pressure on these kids. I am not making it up but 50 percent of my daughters friends have been hospitalized for mental health reasons. There were five suicide attempts just among the kids I know personally. This place eats kids up, but the test scores are great. T

I have had three students attend the Sycamore k-12. It offers a vast variety of opportunities for students with varying interests and needs. The support services are outstanding. And yes, they strive to get the best out of your child.

As a parent of a student I find the school to be a pressure cooker. Easily half my kids friends have been hospitalized for mental health break downs. These kids are under way too much pressure. The ones that survive go to great colleges but it destroys too many young people to get there.
