GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I am confident in where I'm headed due to the education at WHHS. Administration must pay more attention to safety in the school as there have been many chances someone could've caused harm to students. Administration is more worried about phones than safety.

I have enjoyed my experience. Some so many extracurriculars and clubs have been available to me. I feel that my teachers and administration have prepared me very well for college. I am in an environment that supports me and welcomes all kinds of people. I have been able to make great connections with people that will last a lifetime. I have also been able to learn so many cool things through all the courses offered. I have had some amazing teachers who have helped me get to where I am and I am lucky that I was able to be in their classes.

I liked my time at walnut, there were some bad things some good but overall of the way that I know high school is in other parts of Cincinnati I wouldn't rather got to another school.

The students are smart so the test scores are great. The teachers are not anything special, in fact I’d go so far as to say they are some of the worst I’ve come across as an educator and as a parent. I’m sad to say that although they have all the money, all the resources, and all the test scores, th...

The school only cares about their AP students.

Terrible. Please, go somewhere else. Schools like Spencer Center need more people; Walnut does not deserve any. With a high lack of culture besides the generic high school (homecoming, etc.), a prejudice against creative thinking, numerous worksheets and by-the-book teachers, this certainly falls at...

Intense but effective school. High AP participation. Mediocre if you don’t try but has a lot to offer those who actually try.
