GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My high school experience at Cissna Park has been pretty good. I do not have a lot to complain about. My favorite part is how small our high school is, and that I know everyone in the building. Some times there are occasions when I wish we were bigger but usually not. I would like to see more classes offered, that is one of the hard things about a small school. Overall, I am proud of where we are.

This town is such a kind hearted and trusting community. The school thrives off of that kindness and trustworthy attitude. Everyone here is very kindhearted and would never do anything to hurt someone else. I have never felt unsafe at this school or in this town. The people are extremely kind. The school has never had intruders and we lock our doors but we don't have cameras or police anywhere because nothing bad occurs at this school. Bullying is never a problem with anyone. Everyone is kind and gets along with everyone else. There are no fights ever. And the teachers are all responsible trusting people who would do anything for us kids.

Over two-thirds of our school is involved in a sport or club that they continuously participate in.
