The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
The Test Score Rating reflects annual state test results for this school compared with scores statewide.

My experience at Clairton school has been static. I haven't had a bad experience nor have I had an extremely pleasant one. My best experience at Clairton high school is the acknowledgment the principal has for the good students every Friday. My worst experience was probably last year in science class. What I'd like to see change about Clairton high school is the hands-on learning between students and teachers.

My overall experience on Clairton Middle/High School in the many years that I have been there is that it is an environment that could leaved stressed out and feel drained out (knowledge wise) with some of the work we would have to finish. So something I would want to see change is to get teachers and staff that are more energetic on what they would want to teach and possibly even some more useful resources that could be accessible as well.

I don't necessarily like all of the options for food. I often won't eat if I don't like the menu. And I have to pay for my lunch, so I rather bring food from home.
As a student here as of the year 2022 and having my freshman year be ruined basically by covid. This school does not have anything down pack what so ever. It's more of the students run this school than the actual administrators.
