I enjoyed RCB, specifically the athletic programs, however I feel like I was unprepared for college and wasn't told about the opportunities for loans, scholarships, etc. which in all honestly set me up to fail.

Robert C. Byrd High School is an excellent school. It has prepared me for college in the best way possible. The academics and athletics are incredible and foster many different kinds of students for all activities and levels. The school has a wide range of AP and dual credit opportunities for students enabling them to succeed to their full potential.

While I've not always felt as if my academic classes have been benefiting me, I can confidently say that Robert C. Byrd High School has prepared me for college and the real world. There are many teachers who are open and willing to help in anything you need. Robert C. Byrd students are extremely fortunate with their staff, facilities, and atmosphere. I am specifically a member of various preforming art groups and I have been very well prepared to pursue those subjects beyond high school.
