My overall experience at Clarkston High School had ups and downs. Some of the best parts of my time at Clarkston High School were making close friends and creating lasting memories. As well as getting involved in activities like tennis, garden club, etc. Some of my worst experiences with Clarkston High School were the pressure to fit in and social dramas.

I started at Clarkston in the 10th grade with a 1.83 GPA. My teachers helped me focus, and I studied hard. My counselors Mr. Releford and Dr. Daniel guided me to make the most of the remaining years. I'm now in 12th grade with a 3.2 GPA, and I have been accepted to Georgia Southern University and Kennesaw State University

I went here all four years of my high school career. I was able to pave a path that lead me to college being that I was very involved. I played soccer for the school and was part of JROTC. I feel as though it is quite easy to get stuck in the norm of not going on to college in this town, but fortunately for me I made it out. I hated the food going here, like I remember going hours on end of the school day without food. I would also like to see more involvement from parents. Not sure how this can be encouraged, but it would be a helpful resource for the students.
