this school treats their 8th graders remarkably strictly. they like to pretend to be a prestigious school, but they're anything but. they mandate uniform that requires you buy from their website, no doubt to fill the pockets of the founder. i do believe they want to be a private school. they treat their openly queer, mentally disabled, and otherwise "different" students much more strict than they do their model population; that being people in sport, people in their prestigious clubs, and otherwise "prodigy" students, whilst sidelining their creative students by putting the wrong people in the wrong electives. not only are they a pitiful excuse for a charter school, but seemingly espousing fascist ideology in how they run, teach, and mandate the school. all in all, this school is a pathetic excuse for an academia, and a system to pump money into the oligarch leader's pockets.

Overall I'm pleased with the school. I've only had a couple of concerns but other than that I really love the school

My child transferred from city schools where she was failing moat classes to Classocal Charter of Whiteville to find supportive instructors in a safe environment. She is now excelling in her studies. She has regained confidence in herself because of her new school.

We have been with CCS since its inception in July 2007. Academics are rigorous and the Arts are a part of their students' daily life (which is quickly fading in our area schools).
