GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I have attended the Clearfield school district ever since I was in kindergarten, and now I am a rising senior. The school culture is very tight knit and almost everyone knows each other. There are many resources including databases and a library. The extracurriculars such as music and sports are well run. The academics are decent enough for a public school.

I have had a great experience with clearfield. They have college classes that you can take along with many activites and clubs to join.

Clearfield Area Junior-Senior High School is an okay school. The classes, clubs, teachers, and food are good. However, many in the school are racist. You can walk down the hallways and frequently hear people say things they should not be saying.

This school is completely terrible, yes there are a few good teachers but that's only if they like you, for say if a teacher even just doesn't like the style you dress in they wont help you.I have adhd and the school was horrible to me, yes I got a bit of what I needed but I struggle with reading to...

Teachers take days and even weeks to respond to parents email. They invest too much in athletics(even though their program is terrible and no student gets scholarships) faculty literally treats it as a 9-5 job with no interest in truly teaching students. Statistically one of the worst in the state....

If your not part of the football program your needs are secondary. This is a school where the principal is the football coach!!?? Can someone tell me there isn't a conflict of interest here.
