CHS is a great school with caring teaching and administrators. I think bureaucracy gets in the way at any school and wears on everyone but overall, my children have had a great experience at this school. I highly recommend it.

My student did not have a positive experience here. Very few teachers heeded requests for help in certain areas when concerns were voiced during conferences. The counselor never followed up on any communications after the initial recognition that an email was received. My child honestly felt awful when at school nearly every day.

The number of fights my kid gets in is absurd, they are all on camera and no one is ever disciplined. This school is not safe, my kid has been choked, felt up and punched in the face in front of staff and nothing happens. I don't call the principal anymore, I call the police. Daughter has been at CHS 1.5 yrs, and I have no complaints. Teachers have been very organized and thorough. Orchestra has been wonderful.

The teachers and staff really care about the students and each other. My daughter has thrived at this school, in large part due to assigning her the right teachers at the right time. Scores at this school would indicate that the negative reviews on this sight are way over stated. No place is a panac...
