I transferred to Clinton High School after moving into the area my junior year. I tried my best to fit in and be friendly, but was rejected by the people around me. Some teachers were very helpful and supportive, and others did nothing but make my situation worse. One thing I did really appreciate was the Gear Up program. They helped me get ready for college, and made sure I had everything I needed to make the transition as easy as possible.

It's been a pretty average experience. We had some administrators get taken out and put under the eyes of the law, however most of the teachers are very kind and very passionate about their job. Some are pretty and though and are kinda mean. There are roaches around the school a lot and the food is NOT good.

Clinton High School is very activity based, they prioritize clubs, sports, activities over academics. I am now a college student who does not feel ready as I was not taught certain study skills in highschool.

Currently ranked in the top 5-10% of all public high schools in the state based on growth and progress as indicated by test scores. CHS also exceeds both the state and national graduation rate. Great experience at CHS.
