Worst school that any of my 5 kids have ever attended. Throughout his 7th grade year, my smart but very shy son wasn't turning in his school work and was failing most of his classes. I tried as hard as I could to keep up with his assignments to keep him on track but was unable to do so because I got no cooperation from any of his teachers or his guidance counselors despite my constantly emailing and calling to ask for their help. Every one of his teachers was just punching a clock, and not one of them cared about him. We changed schools the following year, and in 8th grade my son learned to get all of his work turned in and got mostly As and Bs in his classes because ALL of his teachers cared and worked with me. Bottom line: I wouldn't send my dog to Coal Ridge Middle School.

I am a student at coalridge. It’s my first year and I already hate it. Bullying here is awful, and pretty much the only thing the administration does about it is put posters up on one or two hallways. The campus supervisor made a student cry, another student said they’d rather be dead than be here....

This school sucks. I have a daughter that goes here and has a 504 plan and the teachers there don't care about it.
