GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

This is a great high school to be a part of. It is a tight-knit community and great for getting involved and making a difference.

Cochranton is a great school to call home, but there are many downsides to it being a small school. There is a large limit on courses at this school, and some classes that I have wanted to take I can't because this school is too small to offer it.

I was in a lot of music and art activities like marching band and pep band. The band and music program in general is very well tuned and excels at what they do. The teachers that do care are prepared and do well to prepare their students but some teachers I felt didn't do much for the preparation for the rest of life. They were just getting us ready for tests and graduation and not much beyond that. Our robotics team is also very excellent even though I was never a part of it I know that they did very well because I knew several people who were in it.
