The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

This school was amazing and it fueled my ability to be able to prepare myself for college. I have never regretted the academic portion of my time at Charter. That being said, this school was horrible for my mental health. Importance was put above all on our grades, forgetting our physical well being. I would not send my children here until they put a therapist in the building.

Coeur d'Alene Charter Academy is a good place to get prepared for college, but is extremely stressful depending on the teachers you get.

Honestly junior year has been subpar compared to other years here. It became a lot less of teach the kids & more "cram them full of knowledge for AP tests" The teaching went down hill & so did the teachers. I wish that I learned something that would be genuinely useful in real life but alas that's not how any sort of schooling in the US works. The counselor for the Highwchool here is a joke too. She has legitimately no idea what she doing & is possibly one of the most stuck up people i've ever met. Has never provided me with anything useful Aslo there were no class trips for any class or anything in this grade level. The school is slowly caring less about its students & more about its scores & it shows very heavily.
Terrible faculty and the principal (mr. Nickalay) has little to none awareness. Education was mid and aside from the high amounts of homework, the school was ran like a prison even though they have sub par classes.
As previously mentioned, not for everyone but if a student is driven the test scores speak for themselves. A place where the best can reach their potential.
I am a teacher and a parent. One of my children graduated from Charter, the other will graduate from the 'regular' public high school. This is not the right school for everyone. However, if your goal is college-prep, then this is the right school. Consider that our "US News College readiness score i...
