Coldspring-Oakhurst has a few good teachers, but most are inexperienced and leave after a year or so. The sports programs have improved over the years and the coaches are doing a good job.

While I was here I noticed that this school needs to crack down on discipline. The children are disrespectful and do not listen. A positive thing is that the school is getting new renovations for next school year. This will include a huge upgrade for the health science department.

As a junior at Coldspring- Oakhurst High School I can say that things here have been absolutely amazing, the administrative system has drastically improved our educational system. The school is not very big, we average about one hundred and fifty students per class. The teachers are able to connect with the students on a personal level and help the students throughout their college life.

Like so many of my fellow teachers, I quit rather than endure another year under an administration that doesn't hold students accountable for clear violations of their on written student code of conduct--classroom disruptions, sexual misconduct, boys walking around school with boxers fully exposed a...

The number one problem with this school is: no matter how many times a student demonstrates bad behavior, they are never disciplined according to the very discipline plan this school (district) has written and claims to uphold. In short, the school is not only run by the students, it is run by the s...
