There is some weird stuff going on behind the scenes. It just isn't the same anymore. Collinsville is getting to big for its own good.

Collinsville is your typical small town high school. Academics are pretty subpar, but you do have the option to do concurrent enrollment and/or tech, which I would highly recommend.

What I liked about Collinsville was that they really did want to see you succeed. There were many avenues to take if you ever found yourself behind, failing, or struggling in a class. Life is full of surprises and they took that into account.

My son moved in during the middle of his senior year. It was his 2nd high school in Oklahoma. Thanks to the counselor he worked with found 2 classes the previous school missed that he needed to graduate. The teachers went the extra mile to make sure he graduated on time. They didn't care for my depression they told me to suck it up and get over it. The students are hateful and rude. They have no manners bathrooms are disgusting.

Collinsville is pretty innovative in its approach to education as far as scheduling and its classroom teaching. It hasn't always been like this but their are more and more teachers at this school that do a really good job. Great scores too.
