As a junior I understand that my time here at Colon High School is coming to an end, and through those years I have seen many things happen through this district. One thing I notice is the way some teachers act and respond to students. Hearing the way teachers talk to students about other teachers or students is ridiculous. There is good to the school though. As in the support of some staff and the way some students treat each other. Note I said SOME.

Colon is your standard small town school. We have as many kids in the high school as some people have kids in their graduating class. Therefore we have limited options when it comes to extracurricular activities or sports. Although what we do have the school and teachers do a good job at making sure kids enjoy what they're doing. One big problem with Colon right now is a lack of respect for the current administration that students have. The administration is also the main reason most of our best teachers have been leaving and I'm willing to bet even more will leave because of them. I like all of my teachers and the teachers enjoy most of the students but they've been forced to leave due to administration. Once you do look past the administration however Colon isn't a terrible place and I would say the teachers are what help make it better the most. I hope that in the future the administration will get better and our best teachers stop leaving.

Terrible teaching staff. If you need help or if you want your child to have a valued education do NOT bring your children here.

I am a student here and I have to say that I haven't been completely happy with what I have had to go through with this school. The office faculty and leadership isn't very professional. I have had numerous problems with communication with the office workers. I also seem to have problems with my sch...

I am a student at Colon High School. I believe that Colon is the best school I could have ever went to. I am in the eleventh grade for the 2010-2011 school year, and the teachers are AMAZING! They love us. And we create strong bonds amongst each other. The principal is alittle iffy right now, in my...
