Like everywhere, some teachers are wonderful while others seem to want to leave. My child had some terrific teachers especially in the 6th grade. Administration needs to be firm and have strong consequences for breaking rules so they're not repeated.

Colonia Middle School has good academics and teachers that focus on them. The administrators have worked hard to cultivate an environment based on the pillars of respect, responsibility and readiness. The recently implemented sports programs are great for community involvement and teaching kids leadership.

I went to this school 20 years ago and the amount of bullying I received has affected my life to this day. The school does not care about the kids being mistreated. They will always look away and see it as a normal thing that “all” kids go through. I am honestly traumatized from what I went through...

This school is very stressful. The dress code is absolutely ridiculous and totally targets girls. WAY too much homework is given. I cried pretty much everyday because I couldn't stand going here.
