Broadmoor Elementary School is a public school founded in 1956 in southwest Colorado Springs. It’s located near Cheyenne Mountain and is part of the Cheyenne Mountain School District 12, which has been recognized as one of Colorado’s best school districts. The school serves children in kindergarten through sixth grades. Aside from Broadmoor’s core academic curriculum, every student is presented with the opportunity to participate in physical education, music and art. For fourth grade and higher, band classes are available. For qualifying students, English language support is obtainable via instructional classes. Students also learned valuable life skills through recess, camps and extracurricular activities. The school also offers a special education program for learners who require personalized instruction. Free or reduced lunches are made accessible for eligible students. We switched from Vanguard to Broadmoor when my son was going into 3rd grade. It’s been a wonderful experience. We love this school - parents, teachers, kids, principal, curriculum.

I dont recommend unless you are ok with your child being a bully or is bullied since it won't be sufficiently addressed and parents are belittled for standing up for it and trying to get it addressed and to stop.

We have been very pleased with this school in terms of how interested the teachers are in my sons accademics. The health aide on staff is absolutely wonderful. The school has a sense of community with a lot of parental involvement and parent volunteers. The new principal, Mrs. Henderson is very nice...

We love this school! Our children have been attending the last 6 years and we have seen so many improvements within the school over the years. I love a lot of the programs provided. We also have a community garden that the students are able to work in and eat their harvest. I really love being invol...
