CIVA is a great small community that welcomes all. CIVA may not have the best sports but their visual and performing arts program is great. I love the smaller classes because it allows you to connect to your peers and teachers much better. All the teachers are extremely friendly and are always willing to help when needed.

CIVA is a school full of love. The community is excellent and everyone cares a lot about each other. Also, the performing arts department is excellent-- for anyone wanting to enter that field, this is the school for you. I just wish the core classes were slightly more challenging.

As the years have progressed, Civa has not. Once a thriving upcoming charter school that was scoring well on state tests with small classes and great diversity. Then they wanted to expand their numbers. They lost good teachers and admin. The year long lock down and virtual school. Homeless encampments on school property. What do the graduation rates look like for Civa in 2021? Poor.
