My experience at Coronado High School has overall been positive, but there are some downsides. Coronado has a lot of diversity on its campus, which I appreciate as a Hispanic female. I feel very included in the group I surround myself with, but I do see a lot of less fortunate kids get involved in the wrong things. There is a lot of drug usage and foul language at Coronado.

Majority of the teachers are amazing and really care about you and your education. School is a nice set up and seems to be in good condition. Kids are pretty nice but lots of people vape so watch for that. Otherwise I'm happy to attend here.

Coronado has a very diverse student population, a variety of strong programs, and great teachers. Coronado has a strong band, theatre, boys and girls soccer, STEM, and wrestling programs. Over my 4 years at Coronado, there are only one or two teachers that I have not liked, but over a dozen teachers that I would love to have again.

I have a child at Coronado and is really happy. The principal and teachers have been wonderful and there have been ZERO safety concerns. I was a teacher and counselor at other schools (schools with lots of violence and schools in very privileged neighborhoods). If your kiddo wants to find trouble......

Both my husband and I attended Coronado. The current ranking of this school does not provide an accurate view. Our daughter has not only thrived in academics but in her sports as well. My son is in his senior year this fall. The last three years have been incredible for him. The most notable positives for us have been the Soccer program, Which has grown in these few years to include a C team (50 players total) because families see such a benefit from the community that is formed....
