GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I enjoy going to Caldwell Parish but there are a few issues. More equality in treatment would be nice. It would also help if the teachers played a more active roll in ensuring a child's needs.

Pretty good school that definitely has some good teachers. Though some teachers are only there to sit at a desk and show videos in class, many teachers actually teach and are always open to questions. The school rewards 4.0 students with special lunch once a month and makes sure to let students who behave know that they're appreciated. Younger teachers that relate to students more are much better at explaining questions it seems.

The school needs to treat all sports teams equally. They don't provide things to fix tennis courts but they can plant and paint the football fields. The school just needs to treat everyone equally.

My daughter was a transfer student from Washington State. She was educated from Kindergarten-Jr. High. Although we visited family every year for the past 15years, I was skeptical about her High School Years in the South. In particular, a small town in Columbia. La. However, my daughter was welcomed...

For what it is, it's not bad. It's a relatively small town in a relatively rural area. I am impressed to see that they do have a fine arts program, small though it may be, and I like that they are on board with the AR program. With the pathetic state of Louisiana's school budget, they're very lucky...

If you want to be a construction worker this is the place to graduate from. Monroe schools don't offer much better either so Louisiana is just all together a bad place for education.
