The worst part is the lack of school spirit and the lack of community in the school. Also the majority of the science and technology teachers aren't helpful or looking out for your best interests. The best part of my experience was my english and social studies teachers who have helped me throughout high school and seemed to enjoy their job. Atholton also has a good math department and I would say for the most part they are all very helpful.

Throughout my last 3 years coming to Atholton high School, it has been an up and down journey all the way through, but as of now going into my senior year I feel like I really am ready and prepared to go through the hardships of college prep. It will be a hard road as high school has been for me, from the poor test scores and broken friendships, to all the games and events I've been a part of it always been fun to see all that high school contains and can offer for an everyday person just like myself.

The best part of my experience at Atholton HS is playing on the lacrosse and Field hockey teams, I have learned so much about teamwork, leadership, and friendship on my teams. My coaches have always been amazing and supportive.

Atholton’s “diversity” is soooo overstated. The school only has 8% of its students from low-income backgrounds and white and Asian students make up the over 60% of the student body. well Im only in 10th grade but so far it has been okay, there could be more support from the administration. Other than that there are a lot of students there for you even if you don't know it. (speaking from experience).
