The best part of Hickman would be the social studies/history department of Hickman, they have fantastic teachers for that subject. The worst part would probably be the CPS district or the lack of funding for Hickman in general, it definitely is neglected compared to the rest of the schools in the district.

More emphasis on keeping the school a pleasant environment through things like cracking down on vaping and making sure the bathrooms are able to stay open (as many have been closed the entire year). Also by loosening up some of the restrictions that were put on traditions such as senior skip day and such.

My overall experience at Hickman High school has been the High school experience. I've met great staff, friends, teachers. Ive had fun, doing the school activities they provide, and the events they host for us to enjoy our school year. I wouldn't change anything, it's a really good school. I would like to see more engagement if I had to change something.

I've had two students attend Hickman high school. It has been a great experience for both of them. The teachers are excellent. The administrators really care about all the students. My kids received an excellent education here

I was a student here for two years. I will go through the positives first, I really enjoyed the diversity of the students, I learned a lot about different lifestyles other than my own.
