Do NOT let the 3/10 “score” deter you from considering or attending Forest Lake elementary. The score is hooey and does not take into consideration so many things. I and others gladly drive 15 to 20 minutes for our kids to attend this school. Each year both magnets have a waitlist. You would be luck...

We have loved our experience at Forest Lake! The teachers and staff are top notch, very caring, and friendly. It’s a great school community to be a part of with many wonderful things going on!

My husband and I are not from the Columbia area, so we looked at public and private school options. We found the ELC magnet at Forest Lake and the other magnet options in District 2 provided the most academically challenging environment for our daughter while also allowing her to learn among a diver...
