I couldn't remember much from my experience with Elvin Hill, but what I do remember are the embarrassing things a few of the teachers did to me, how utterly lazy the coaches were (all they did was sit in reclining office chairs and make us play bingo when they were too lazy to get P.E. equipment out), and that they used Common Core for their Math curriculum. There were some genuinely thoughtful and caring teachers though.
