GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Hardaway's strength is the academics it is not a school people to for sports. School spirit is something we struggle with because we were not rewarded or acknowledged when we did good things but things are Changing with the new administration.

This school is good in terms of education but it is underfunded and in an area that combines very low income and middle class families. While a good school, it is old and the students are often more of an issue than any other factor.

The teachers treat you like family. They care about you as a person and do everything in their power to help you achieve your goals. The IB program is challenging and hardcore, but the coordinator walks you through the program and tries to see everyone succeed.

Phenix City schools were terrible! Put my son in Hardaway, had NO problems. They have college courses for children while in high school. My son is not a full time college student and this school is excellent.

The IB program is great. I don’t get much communication from any of my sins teachers. However I do receive almost monthl...

My son went to private school before coming here and I was very nervous! I've come to know very quickly that it was for no reason not only does he make awesome grades while being challenged, but he found his place within. Choosing 2 sports and being able to actually participate! We really both LOVE...

I'm a freshman at Hardaway High and in the past couple of weeks their it was awesome! The teachers are really great and I have been taking an IB course which is way better than the CHS magnet. Also the teachers actually care about you! The thing that I hate is the over crowded one way halls, it take...
