Situated in the heart of North Linden is Medina Middle School, serving neighborhood children in grades six through eight. Medina Middle School strives to educate and engage students to prepare them for future success. Its strong curriculum aligns with state standards and is supplemented by Advanced Placement courses.
At the start of their Medina Middle School journey, sixth grade students sample a variety of core topics throughout the year. In seventh grade, they find entire semesters dedicated to some of these topics. In eighth grade, Medina Middle School students attend courses that stretch across the entire school year and earn them high school credits.
Medina Middle School students have won awards for their participation in state and local mock trial competitions, where they’ve demonstrated their public speaking prowess and understanding of the nation’s judicial system.
Besides mock trial, extracurricular offerings at Medina Middle School include the summertime STEAM Enrichment Institute, Junior Achievement and Student Council. Students participate in school-sponsored community projects, including beautification projects, and tutor kids at Huy Elementary School. Students with musical talent or athletic skills demonstrate their abilities during seasonal concerts and team sports.
Medina clubs, services, sports and performances are not only fun and educational but promote personal growth and leadership. Academic achievers are regularly recognized through honor roll and breakfast celebrations.
Medina Middle School additionally supports its students through an on-site store offering free food, hygiene products and school supplies to students in need.

4/10, As a student who goes to this school, I gave this rating because I see no changes over the last 3 years.There is too much fooling around the school,Too much disturbance,And teachers are being too nice to students who are doing the wrong thing.

My son has done great going to medina! He has been on honor roll the last 2 semesters. I think the biggest issue is not the teachers nor the school. It's the parents that don't push their kids in the right direction and fail to be a parent....
