GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I love Metro because it is not a one size fits all education. We can color outside the walls and there is so much room for trying new things. It's getting a private education in a public setting. And what a great honor to be have the opportunity to be able to graduate with a two year degree from The Ohios State University.

We have been at metro since my son was in 6th grade. The school has been an amazing place for my son to be challenged academically and be college ready. He is already taking all college classes as a Junior and the access to OSU is amazing. My son gets real on campus experience and learns from college profs. He has been really challenged especially on the STEM areas. He has learned self motivation and self leadership because of the environment of Metro.

Overall this is a great school to get you adjusted to the college experience from an early age and get the conversation about college started as early as 6th grade. The mastery system that this school revolves around is helpful in achieving a 4.0 GPA but not as helpful in preparing you for what college classes are like. This school can be very stressful because of the major emphasis put on academics because classes are required to have an A to move on hence why this school is good for achieving a 4.0 but again this creates a slightly toxic mindset of perfectionism and academic validation. This school does allow you to take as many college classes at OSU as you want as long as you take the required 16 high school credits (each credit being half a school year).

It's extremely disgusting that the building is small. OSU is making a parking lot construction space. The administration needs to expand the building because there are too many freshmen. Good luck to future students. I hope the group expands the building space so that high school students can have t...
