It's been a decent high school experience. The teachers are good, the food is decent, and the amount of things to do are plentiful.

Going from a prestigious middle school to a small town high school, the change in culture came as a big shock to me. As I had previously focused on academics and testing, I now realized that high school at Columbus was focused on sports and extracurriculars. This change, while difficult to acclimate to, helped me open up to sporting and extracurricular opportunities I was previously uninterested in.

My high school experience so far at Columbus High School has been great. The teachers and administration here are very nice and will do anything they can to help with your concerns. The academics are great, they offer many AP classes and extracurricular. The sports are great, especially football. I dont play sports but from a distance the football team make it very far every year. Overall this school is the best school I have been at.

Former student here. I have to agree with the reviewer before me with the notion that the environment is hateful. Nothing at all is done about the bullying. There is also frequent drug use. They hide it from the dogs under the bathroom trash can (if the staff hasn't found out already.) It is very de...

This school runs rampant with racism, homophobia, and hate. The staff do nothing to stop it and even will make excuses for those who spew hate, allowing it to continue. As a student of this school, I will never recommend it to anyone looking to enroll their kids somewhere. If you aren’t a straight w...

I had 4 kids graduate here . Academics and character building has gone downhill in recent years in favor of small special interests like sports and "ag". In spite on lower student/teacher ratios, CISD is falling behind. We've become a rung on the career ladder for superintendents who only want to "b...

The teachers and staff are committed to doing everything necessary to achieve success for all students. The population is diverse and represent many different cultures yet all students get along. The district's administration is dynamic and is always looking for ways to improve the student's educati...
