Columbus high school is a welcoming environment held in a very close community. Being located in such a small town the culture is very tight nit. The clubs and activities in school bring everyone together and make sure everyone is included. This is important in our community as we went through many district changes this year. Being a close community helped, knowing you always had someone going through the same boat.

At Columbus High School, I felt that the classes were dumbed down. There were only 6 AP courses available to take, and 2 were foreign language. However, the school was good at allowing the students in good standing to take courses online or MATC by themselves to help them get ready for college. The only good facility spaces are those for football and basketball. If you are interested in soccer or track, get ready to run on a slanted soccer field or a concrete track.

I adored my teachers in high school. They made learning fun and were eager to help when needed. I knew that they genuinely cared about us as students.

I hope things are different now but, when I went here my education was cut short after a staff member who worked with special needs students began to spread vile rumors about me. She made comments about my body and my learning disability to other students in...

Child wth learning issues is not receiving the help she needs to succeed. Teachers are good about communicating but there is still a huge gap in services for the struggling/ failing student.

This is a great school. The students get a lot of one-on-one with the teachers and extra help after school. The academics are outstanding with over 90% of the graduates going to college.
