Overall, east jackson was a good experience for me. its not the best or nicest school but it was a good environment to be in.

I've been in EJCHS since the 8th grade. Overall, I would have to say that my experience here is pretty good. For the most part, I've had really good teachers and the Administrators seem to have their priorities right. The counselors here are efficient and reliable when it comes to helping me prepare for college life/life after high school. I don't necessarily have a bunch of complaints, although sometime last school year (2022 - 2023 school year) there was an issue with the badges and it caused false lockdowns.. it caused a bunch of my fellow students to panic and I'd hope that it wouldn't happen anymore for the students that aren't graduating and the future EJCHS students.

I liked the friendships that were made due to the size of the school. AP classes were offered and dual enrollment was available. I feel that the AP classes were not taught well enough to ace the test The school needs to work with the colleges more
