I love so many things about Fenn: the focus on character development, the caring and engaged faculty, the excellent academies, and the focus on developing the whole boy. My son was a diamond in the rough when he entered 4th grade and Fenn provided the nurturing, support, and education to help him grow into a fine adolescent and young man.

We were so happy with the change for our son from public school in 4th grade. The guiding principles and motto of the school are fantastic and the leadership is top notch. We appreciate the values they try to instill in the boys and they do a great job of being very welcoming to everyone at the school. There are aspects of the sports and arts department that we feel could use some updating but we also recognize the challenges of educating middle school age boys and think they overall are open to feedback and are willing to adjust and adapt (which is really the ultimate test of any school). Middle school is a challenging time for any child and Fenn really homes in on making the middle school experience for boys as nice as possible.

As an alum who graduated after going to Fenn for all 6 years, one major thing I took away from my experience was that each person has something to offer. As the fenn modo goes sua sponte, It's in your hands. It's in your hands to learn from your peers and to make the most of your time here at fenn. In my opinion that's what fenn does best, they allow the students to grow in their own way and at their own pace. While feeding the students with useful opportunities to open up their comfort zone.
