The school is very diverse in all aspects. The teachers overall are very nice, open minded, and helpful, but you can still run into problems with some of them. Administration is one of those things that need to be drastically improved immediately.

I've been here since 5th grade and I came back in high school to a VERY toxic environment, I go home every day and tell my mother the BS I deal with between the teachers AND students. Specifically the English teachers. They're disrespectful towards my personal life and they feed on the drama. They baby some kids while being RUDELY disrespectful to others. They target the colored and leave out mostly the whites to do what they want. There are stink bugs EVERYWHERE. They took high school lunch and bathroom privileges because of a couple of students. We aren't allowed to go ANYWHERE without being questioned and followed. We're not even allowed to go outside. The teachers DON'T teach, most of them are lazy, and they don't care about anything or anyone but themselves. I'm partially deaf because of the constant screaming at not one, not two, not three, but ALL the kids. I'm highly DISGUSTED, at the amount of disrespect I receive as a STUDENT here. I don't recommend bringing your child here.

Carolina International has a very diverse student body and offers many different one on one learning experiences due to the smaller class sizes.
