Northwest Cabarrus High School is an overall great school. The students and teachers here are so kind and caring. There is so much to be involved with in our school and the admin has done their best to make it a safe and fun community here at northwest. I am personally involved with the AG experience. I have taken horticulture and animal science classes and they have played such a huge role in helping me figure out who I am and what I love. I would 10/10 recommend this school.

Northwest Cabarrus High School is one of the best schools in Cabarrus county. I chose to go to Northwest because of the Academy of Health Sciences program, and it has brought so far as to getting into the RCCC Nurse Aide program which I have completed as a senior in high school, and I will graduate with my CNA 1 and 2 because of how great the teachers are and how they have prepared me for the future and for college.

Northwest is a good school staff wise. All the teachers want to be there and most of them are dripping with school spirit. That is about it for all the good things about Northwest. The building is old and the kids moral is sad.

Two of my children have gone through NW (one graduated in 2024, one currently a senior) and we've had an excellent experiencd. We moved out of Cox mill zone and transferred to Northwest in 2022, and have been so pleased. It feels like family, the teachers care about the students, and there is PLENTY...

Excellent school with tons of extracurriculars to offer such as DECA, Hosa, Beta Club, and more. My son is doing well academically and the teachers do well, for the most part. The principal, Mr.Myers, does a great job connecting with students, teachers, and faculty. I would say the only thing they c...

School leadership is unsupportive in more ways than I can express. Head of administration is extremely arrogant. He can not admit when he is in the wrong and has a chip on his shoulder. He is on an evident power trip which in my opinion makes him a small, small man. Teachers seem to be the only posi...
