I think this a very good oppurtunity and conmmunity to be involved with. They all care about your safety first. This is a rural county so it is less people to teacher ratio which makes it feel so much easier and you can really connect with the teachers.

Cosby High School is a small school in my hometown, and I felt that with a smaller group of people, I could focus more in classes and focus on forming new friendships. Everyone in my grade cared about the other, and always looked out for each other. The relationships formed with the teachers were beneficial as well. When a question arose on anything, whether it be academically related or about life, we could go up to our teachers and talk with them about it, and they would show genuine interest and concern.

It's a poor, rural school. It doesn't offer the same resources that a larger school might, and I see that in contrast to my experience at college. However, they make the best of what they have and prioritize the student experience.

The school is disgusting. The janitors fail to clean certain classrooms that are outside of the school, there's stains in the bathrooms and they put off a constant smell. They have ant trails coming in multiple rooms that they refuse to tend to and I have seen multiple mice in a classroom floor and...

I attended CHS from first grade through high school. As a native I know its pros and cons -- and there are both. Like the other reviewer, I went on to graduate college without owing much to the education I received at Cosby. I had to re-educate myself post high school in order to catch up with my co...

I am a Cosby High School alumni and I will say that the education I received at CHS was not a quality education. Upon graduating from CHS, I began classes at a community college that fall, and I feel that I was not prepared academically or mentally. The school is too focused on sports and not enough...
