GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

ECHS is a great school in many ways. It is very academic and the smallness of it creates an excellent school community. With college professors teaching courses on-campus and excellent councilors available, the college-preparatory aspect of it is excellent.

Early College is high school that consists of approximately 250 students grades 9-12. There is an application process and some may even need to be interviewed; however, the educational opportunities it brings are amazing. Once accepted we are given the chance to take college classes. It is usually one per semester or two depending on the student. Being exposed to the professors, course work, and classes in general prepares us for college.

My child has attended this school for 3 years. It’s smaller size has made making friends & knowing teachers much easier than a larger high school. When my child graduates they will have a year+ of transferrable college credit. The school really excels at preparing the kids for college and test prep...

Our daughter has been at ECH for two years. She loves the smaller size of the school, the house competitions and likes all of her teachers. The principle, Dr. Martinez, is highly visible and familiar with the students, as are the staff. She has good friends at this school. The only thing she is not...

Great environment ! You feel like your part of a family here and it's not all books as some would say, sports are trying to be added so that shouldn't be an issue for those who want to stop doing sports .

I previously attended this high school up to my senior year and had to move due to family reasons and found from comparison to the other Early College High School that the quality of education received here is below par and the promises of college credits should be discredited. When I first entered...
