this school offers a well rounded educational experience. there are teachers that are knowledgeable on their work , who do actually care about the student success. the curriculum is diverse, and has different sources for students to succeed critically and creatively. I've noticed the school is not overbearing for students to still feel comfortable, while maintaining a s safe environment not only for its students, but for, staff, parents, and faculty. There is numerous clubs, teams, and extracurriculars, for students to be involved in .

We haven't been a safe school since my freshman year. Before that we still had fights in the hallways and such but now a kid dying before or during the early part of school year is becoming a trend sadly. We shouldn't have to grieve or worry that we're going to be killed someday especially while we're at school. I shouldn't have to be scared everytime a door opens or I look at my phone and see someone else has passed. My school administrators and principal are doing the best they can but it's never going to be enough. We literally are right next to police station and kids are still fighting until bruised or dying at the hands of guns. They need to do better if they wanna walk around saying they're the best because of our sports. They also need to work on the mental health of the kids there and the funding for other clubs and extra circulars in our school especially the band and arts classes.

Hillcrest has its flaws but every school have flaws. The teachers often care about the child grades more than the students sometimes. The teachers are very concerned and support. The teachers try their best to make sure every child understands.

This school only worries about people they think will make it far but they don’t really care about the other kids who worked their butts off the whole semester. There worries are the people who will make Hillcrest more suitable and reliable place but they don’t see other students who really tried bu...

I had two sons that graduated from Hillcrest with honors and the both graduated from college. I have a daughter there now who is doing well, so the curriculum is there and it’s good.

This school has improved so much since I have graduated from here. I'm not sure why they have a rating of 2 but it should be changed to a 4. My daughter goes here now and has had no issues and her grades are great compared to the elementary schools that the kids come from.

Hillcrest really isn't a bad school. I graduated in '09 and was an honor student. The problem with the school is the students who care nothing about the school and the parents who back up their child when their child was clearly wrong. I have much respect for the teachers at Hillcrest, not only do t...
