I think it's a school full of some amazing people. I do think that more often than not, most situations or conflicts aren't dealt with in the best way possible by administrators, but they do a good job directing things with the correct intentions.

I would love to see more parent involvement, better college and career readiness, and more focus on anti-bullying and anti-violence strategies.

Do not come here it is bad the staff, the students and the way they handle issues is very upsetting. I do not recommend for anyone unless absolutely necessary. Please watch out for the foreign Indian teachers.

Terribly rude administration. Disrespectful, no better than a student.

It was difficult transitioning my child to public school from private school but the teachers and administrators have been so supportive. The staff really care about students and the administrators are really doing their best to make Alcovy High a great place for everyone.

Horrible school. Students run the place with little discipline or accountability. Administration either has not clue about what they are doing or is focused on the wrong things. No learning going on except for students who are totally self-motivated. Needs to be shut down.

Fights everyday, gun threats every other week, teachers have no respect for students, very unsafe and unprofessional learning environment. Your child will not be safe at this school.
