Small school where teachers are extremely helpful and easy to get along with. Could have more options for classes for hose who are advanced.

I spent kindergarten to about half way through junior year in the Highland school district and consider it to be my primary place of education. Here i was involved in cheer and band. Everyone, student and staff, make it a point to create a welcoming and safe environment for all of their students. It is easy to be involved and the school spirit is incredible. I love Highland and it will always hold a special place in my heart.

I had a hard time at highland high school. I felt as if the staff was targeting me personally, and focused more on watching ever little thing I did instead of focusing on a quality education for me. In such a small school with so little class options, I found that I felt trapped and stuck in classes...
