I am a former student from this school. My experience at this school was a very good one until I reached 8th grade. The new principal had no idea how to run the school, and ran it as an authoritarian. She tried to crack down on trouble-makers in the 8th grade, but it all backfired. All the good teachers were leaving, and the school was starting to hire people who were barely qualified for the job and had no passion for teaching. The school is going downhill very fast, and I can see it closing in just a few years. I do not recommend sending your kids there, if you really want them to learn. They do not prepare you for high school in any way, either. Just don't send your kids there, if you want the best for your kids.

CMA allows the children to learn at their pace. They also have zero tolerance for bullies. Additionally the population is very diverse which is what attracted me to the school.

We have been at the school for years but it has drastically declined. For the last 2 year my child was bullied by the teacher...2 different teachers ....too many new untrained teachers that are under paid and miserable....and it shows...won't be going back
