GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Personally, for me, I like small communities because it's not so crowded which allowed me to focus on my academic goals. From what I have seen some if not most of the teachers care about the student's goals and are willing to help as long as that student shows the effort that they care. However, if you are focused on sports this place is not known for that.

I loved the fact that the class sizes were small so you could get a more hand-on experience and you'd have the ability to take your time to truly understand a subject.

I think it has only gotten worse since the new superintendent. Someone must be getting paid to rate this school, because I've never heard anyone say anythi...

Full disclosure: I am in my first year of teaching at CCV. I came to this site because I was curious to read reviews of my school. I would like to point out that in 2014-2015, we got a new superintendent and principal who have made great changes. The reviews from before this time are outdated. Many...
