Best Kept Secret !! Awesome Community, teachers and staff , 2024 Blitz Winner in ALL sports. Rural setting with mountain views make this a beautiful campus and much more. Dahlonega is Listed as best city to live in Georgia, also, listed as safest city to live in Georgia as well. Home of the University of North Georgia too ! We even had "fireworks" at my graduation what a "blast"

Overall, I have had a good experience with Lumpkin County High School. There is always room for improvement. The food is not great, and the involvement is not the best, but the teachers and resources are nice.

The dress code was more strict then Middle and Elementary school, I wish that would change. If students are expected to act like young adults, I feel it would be appropriate for us to be allowed to dress that way. My experience was majority alright, some staff needs to give students more freedom especially as a junior or senior to prepare us for college. I feel like there should be more activities for the students besides just dances.

I went to this school and the counselors were pretty much useless except for college applications and that stuff. Mental health matters too not just educational b***s***. If a student is doing poor mentally you can't expect students to still be thriving at the top of their class or whatever. The two...

Academics are very good, as are sports. However, there is reports of narcissistic snarky bullying students! The staff at LCHS & counselors have failed to help dozens of suffering students! Some popular students are adept at hiding bad attitudes. Place a box for STUDENTS to write letters, signed or u...

I attended LCHS as a freshman and I can honestly say I hated it. The students are so rude and the administrators do absolutely nothing about it. They have teachers who can't teach their own subject which caused me to do very poorly. After I left LCHS, I transferred to Holy Innocent's Episcopal Schoo...
