GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Daingerfield overall is not a bad school , the experience on the other hand may not be what you expect. A little strict but nothing over board .The staff is pretty cool but they could be better. Sports however 10/10 i recommend. The students are really talented in that area and tjstd pretty much every year. School spirit i give it an 7/10 they try but they could try harder. It's pretty small and welcoming so every one knows everyone.

The teachers are all very nice and respectful as long as you show them with the same. They all teach at a very appropriate level you just have to pay attention.

The teachers have fairly good communication skills and teaching styles, but they lack in organization of the classroom. Also, some of the teachers lack in grading consistency.

Avoid this school; it's awful, and the teachers show little concern for students.

0 stars, worst school in East Texas. Teachers gave up teaching awhile ago and could care less about the students. It is a freaking zoo and the keepers are the ones drugged.

I'm a junior at DHS. I'm a cheerleader, member of the band and drama club, and student council as well as National Honor Society. So, you could say that I participate in just about everything. Honestly, Daingerfield is a good school and they're very dedicated to their sports program. It's the kids t...

DHS has a great atheletics program but thats all people focus on. I am a senior in band of this school and I can honestly say that if it wasn't for our principle the arts would be lost. Our community never cheer our band on nor care about any other art programs. Also If we had more teachers that wou...
