GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

it's good but not that much students or opportunities . wish there was more than just some clubs and some other opportunities.

I had a lot of highs and lows while attending Dakota Jr. Sr. High School. I loved playing softball for the school. I think that the coach is very knowledgeable in the sport, allowing me to continue improving my skills. As for the teachers, I was always respectful whether I enjoyed the class or not. Some had different teacher styles that did not allow me to learn to my full potential.

The best part of Dakota was how easy it was to make friends. The school is in the middle of nowhere so we never worry about anything bad happening. One of the worst parts of Dakota was how disrespectful the people there can be but, that's just high school.

I had a pretty solid experience. I was not a sporty kid, and there is a lot of bullying and nepotism, but there are some really good teachers here. It's the best school in the area, I would say. Definitely better than Freeport.
