Forestridge Elementary School is a Richardson Independent School District public school. The school serves prekindergarten through sixth grade students. The campus is located off Bunchberry Drive in southeast Richardson.
Forestridge Elementary School has been recognized as an Exemplary School by the Texas Education Agency. The school has also participated in the HealthierUS School Challenge and was awarded the Gold Award, for meeting nutrition and wellness goals.
The school is proud to have an academically rigorous curriculum. All classes are built around the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills standards. The school has an inviting library and wonderful fine arts program. Students interested in fine arts can join the school choir and participate in weekly art classes.
Students at Forestridge Elementary School can access various learning programs and support services on campus. There are health and wellness programs as well as counseling services. Special Education and English as a Second Language support programs are available for qualifying students. There is also a Gifted program available for advanced students.
The Forestridge Elementary School mascot is the Roadrunners. School colors are red, blue and yellow. Following elementary school, students will continue their education at a junior high school in the Berkner Learning Community feeder pattern.
