Berkner High School STEM Academy is a Richardson Independent School District public high school. The school serves students in ninth through 12th grades. Berkner High School is located off East Spring Valley Road in Richardson. The school has many academic classes and extracurricular activities available to its students.
Berkner High School offers standard and advanced level courses. Students can take dual credit courses or courses in advanced programs, like Advancement Via Individual Determination. Berkner is also a Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics school. Students have access to career counseling services as well as vocational career training.
In addition to outstanding academic programs, Berkner High School has an impressive fine arts department and a variety of sports programs. The Berkner Band is an award winning band under the direction of one of the area's top 10 band programs. There is also a school orchestra and jazz band. Students interested in fine arts can also take art classes, including visual arts, or join the choir.
There are several award winning programs at Berkner High School in men’s and women’s sports. Men’s sports teams include football, basketball and soccer. Women can also play basketball and soccer, or they can play volleyball or tennis. Berkner High School is home of the Rams. The school colors are green and white.
Students are well prepared for life after high school. Following graduation, they have the knowledge and skills needed to attend college or join the workforce.

I transferred to this high school three months ago when I moved. most of my teachers are great, there are barely any fights, and I've met some nice people. Some of the APs get on my last nerve, but I'm pretty sure that's just there version of fun anyway.

Berkner is notoriously known for drug usage, not the best academics but having a decent football team. We are the most neglected school in our district, at least compared to Pearce and RHS, we don't get enough funding. There are a few good teachers however.

It was an interesting 4 years with many turns and tumbles. The school wasn't great itself but the people, students, coaches, some faulty made it feel better.

I personally graduated here it’s really good has a lot of growth I feel like! I had a very troubled home and they really helped me with getting my grades up and we’re really there for me when I really needed it Music class was phenomenal. Language arts was great!

get rid of yonder pouches. absolutely terrible, students bypass by putting a burner phone in the pouch, and have the real phone in their hand.
