St. Philip's was an excellent choice for my two sons. Prior to St. Philip's they attended predominant white schools. My kids did well at those schools but missed a sense of who they were. St.Philip's encouraged my boys to be Christian men and proud African Americans who were aware of the struggles and triumphs of people of color. I continue to support this school even though my kids have long graduated from it. I encourage them to go back and be a blessing to the school that contributed much to them and gave them opportunities other schools could not.

St Philips was a great experience for my children. They grew spiritually, academically, and culturally. I wish they continued through middle school.
